STOP the logging! Make a PARK!

Email Template:

Dear Premier Eby, Minister Ralston, and MLA Brittny Anderson,

The forests are falling on the Argenta-Johnsons Landing Face (AJL Face). The habitats of the highly endangered Mountain Caribou and the Grizzly Bears; the unique old growth Western Larch Forests; the wondrous views from the provincial campgrounds across the lake and much more are all in peril.

Regional indigenous leaders, local residents, people and organizations throughout BC and Canada, along with tourists and the businesses that support them are calling for an end to the logging and the beginning of legislation for the full protection of the AJL Face within the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy Provincial Park.

The logging company, Cooper Creek Cedar, is poised to propose at any time an entirely new set of logging plans for the completely intact and roadless mountainside below Mt. Willet.

The logging is unacceptable now. It is unacceptable in the future.

Stop the logging! Make a park!

Sincerely,

(Sign Your Full Name, Address & Postal Code, and Telephone Number)
